I'm so happy that you're here! I'm Aisha, the sole owner and consultant here at Aisha Hyde Design.  Let me tell you a little about myself.

 

Before transitioning to the world of Design, I had a career in Geology for almost 15 years, which I loved.  It gave me the opportunity to see a lot of the rugged beauty Newfoundland and Labrador has to offer, which I still find so inspiring.  Still, I developed a yearning to explore another side of myself and find a way to live more creatively. So, I took the plunge and went back to school to earn a Diploma in Applied Arts for Interior Decorating, something I’ve always loved.

 

Fast forward to entering the Design Industry at the onset of a global pandemic. I was able to get my start at a local Interior Design firm with the best mentors, and from there was presented with an opportunity to join the Design team for HGTV’s Rock Solid Builds. I gained a lot of experience with this fast paced TV production, developing lifelong friendships along the way. I eventually earned the role of Production Designer for the series, leading the designs behind the scenes. 

 

At the same time, I am building a little something for myself here at Aisha Hyde Design.  I love learning about my clients and helping them create spaces that they feel connected to and bring them joy.  It is a real honor to be trusted with something that important to them, and I am so happy that doing what I love is helping them fall in love with their homes.
